Nature School Pt. 1: My Odyssey to Deeper Truths With Nature
I know that many of you reading this were sensitive to energy when you were children. I share this with you, as does Aaron. That sensitivity may have evolved into your being an empath - if so, let’s talk because I have some suggestions for you. Or it may have developed into something else or a combination of expressions. You also could have been sitting on that sensitivity all these years, and if so, again, we should talk!
My childhood and adolescent sensitivity to energy grew, but when I moved to New York City in my early twenties, it slowed down considerably. Being open and sensitive to energy in such an overpopulated city simply didn’t work for me.
Years later — in the mid-nineties — when my partner and I relocated to Los Angeles, all that waiting-to-be-experienced sensitivity was sitting undetected, just below the surface. After a few years in L.A. of working on myself and learning to connect more deeply to my interior truths, that longheld sensitivity rushed to the surface igniting years of metaphysical growth. Everything I’d experienced as a boy: feeling and sometimes seeing energy, came rushing back to me, this time in a fully framed adult version that my adult mind could process. I was processing so much every day that I had to cut back on my work in the “real world.”
Early into this magical and inspiring shift of awareness, I developed a more in-depth relationship with nature in the form of the consciousness that supports all of nature known as nature intelligence. I felt this intelligence when I was a boy and connected to it effortlessly in my own way without knowing precisely what I was doing. And that was fine. But learning how to communicate with this consciousness in nature, ask it questions, and receive information from it was unexpected, enthralling, and entirely new to me.
I had one remarkable experience after another, each one felt natural and inevitable in its own way. Nature picked up from where it had left off when I was young and continued my energy education. My ability to receive information from nature intelligence has significantly improved over the past twenty-five years, but even in the late-90s when it began it worked well enough for me to learn much more than I’d known.
Back then I relied heavily on my intuition to sense what nature was showing me. I still do. Once I zeroed in on the idea of the message I became more observant of what I was being given and could begin to ask questions.
During that time I started doing body/energy work to experiment with some of what nature was teaching me about the human energy system. My plan was to work on a few friends, but the number of people asking me to work on them grew until I had a small business. It felt like part of the ‘nature school’ I had happily found myself in. Nature guided me and the more I worked the more my vision opened allowing me to track changes that before I could only feel.
I’d done enough reading to know about the conical structure of chakras, how they rotate, and something about the different number of internal vortices they each have. How they extend into the aura and the energy membranes they create as they move out through the different layers of the aura/energy bodies. I had a sound theoretical foundation that evolved into usable, identifiable, and practical information as I continued to work on people.
That was more than enough to keep me busy, but nature had more to show me in the form of the even small internal vortices inside the already small vortices within each chakra. I was shown a highly detailed description of the energetic architecture of each chakra. I hadn’t planned for any of that but I was thrilled to learn it.
My relationship with nature intelligence had been established. As nature guided me toward what I didn’t know existed I asked questions about whatever I was being shown, which resulted in nature providing more information, which resulted in me asking more questions. And on and on.
This same rhythm exists today. It’s how we learned about our Sun, Earth & Ocean Solutions.
My introduction to the human energy system was part of a fully immersive education into how everything works from the perspective of nature intelligence. I look forward to sharing more of what I’ve learned from nature with you as part of our Nature School series.
