Rainbow
About The Rainbow Archetype
The Rainbow archetype represents a person who believes in what is possible, gravitates toward beauty, and creates beauty in their life. Often aptly called a dreamer, they are dreaming about what they feel is truly possible and they have the ability, with the right kind of support, to make those dreams a reality. Without this kind of support, they may have trouble manifesting all they dream of, but that does not stop them from dreaming.
A person with the Rainbow archetype sees the different aspects of life: personal health and well-being, family, relationships, career, engagement in the world, creativity, and spirituality as connected, but also independent in the same way the colors of a rainbow are always connected while maintaining their own uniqueness.
A rainbow in nature requires specific elements to be in place and to the right degree to be seen, and so it is for the Rainbow archetype to achieve their optimum expression. This is why the dreamer quality of this archetype must be sure that the pragmatic elements they need to achieve their dreams are in place. Because their dreams can seem magical in the same way a rainbow seems magical, people are often drawn to their vision and are generally willing to help them realize their dreams. The Rainbow archetype needs to remember to accept that help when offered.
The Rainbow archetype represents a person who is highly unique, sometimes considered eccentric. They tend to be organized, and clear and original thinkers. This archetype is good at envisioning the future and often has workable solutions for problems and challenges they see in the world. Due to their uniqueness — that part of them that others consider to be ‘the dreamer’ — they are not always listened to and can feel misunderstood and ignored. When this happens they may disappear in the same way a rainbow dissolves when the conditions that make it visible vanish.
The Rainbow archetype has much to offer the world as well as anyone in a relationship with them. They are a light element, which allows them to create new ideas in the world. They believe deeply in a better world and are willing to do what they can to create that world. Although they are independent thinkers they do best when they are part of a team or partnership, which helps keep them grounded and can also supply the human power to actualize their dreams. They are not especially good at the completion stages of bringing something new into the world but are brilliant during the creative stages. People can assume, because of the highly original thinking of this archetype, that they do not require any kind of assistance, while the opposite is true. Therefore, it is important for the Rainbow archetype to ask for help and to ask for that help in clear language.

Guided Exercise
Grounding Through Easy Walking
The Rainbow archetype is a light element and can benefit from a specific type of grounding exercise. Light elements nearly always require some amount of grounding, but the grounding must be tuned to their lightness and not unnecessarily weigh them down.
The best grounding exercise for this archetype is easy walking. Walking at a relaxed pace and not for a great distance. This type of walking is best done just after sunrise or just before sunset. Attention should be placed on the stepping of each foot and its connection to the ground. Optimally, walking on grass or dirt is ideal, but not required. While walking, periodically focus on your jaw and shoulders and relax them. These are two areas where emotional tension is often carried and releasing that tension will help you get the most benefit out of the exercise. Take deep breaths a number of times during your walk.
Easy Walks represent the pace of the journey where consistent effort creates the most results. These walks can be done every day or when the time feels right.
